Last night at the DOC NZ awards ceromony intersexion the film
won best editor and best NZ Documentary I am so proud and humble Many people gave so much and worked hard to make this happen I thank each and every one. I am not sure how we got to March!
But I have. Lots on - wanted to especially thank Jim Bruce and Pidge for including me in the interACT youth project. I met Pidge during the filming of the documentary of intersexion in chicago USA 2009 I think. Here is a link to the video. http://inter-actyouth.tumblr.com/. Outside my window the Pohutakawa trees are wearing red. I love these late blooming trees they seem to welcome the new year with their red, after wind carpets. This year will be a different one for me. More time on the road. More time being a 'change agent' Dear friends - I am home again after my amazing trip.
This decade long colaboration continues, this year building upon the layers of the past. I have to thank Sharon Jones, Working It Out, Rural Health, King OF Burnie hotel and ALL the others people organisations who got behind the tour - you rock. In one weeks time I will be back in Tasmania.
